McGovern Center names three executives in residence

Three new executives in residence, charged with facilitating commercialization of Cornell technologies, have joined the staff of the Kevin M. McGovern Family Center for Venture Development in the Life Sciences.

Jonathan Greene, Edward Heslop and William Rhodes III began their appointments Feb. 7 at the center, which is an early-stage life sciences company incubator located in Weill Hall.

“These are exquisitely talented individuals,” said McGovern Center Director Lou Walcer. “Each has been very successful as an entrepreneur, leader, executive and consultant in life science ventures. They have the training, experience, ability and willingness to identify new ‘venture capable’ Cornell life science technologies. Their arrival signals a major addition to the center’s program and capabilities.”
